Session package tuition
Charge by attended sessions (e.g. 8 sessions per package) instead of a fixed monthly fee. Each present check-in uses one session; when the package is used up → fee record → you confirm payment → new package opens.
Enable session packages
- Classes → class → Settings
- Fees → Billing mode
- Select Session package
- Set Sessions per package (e.g. 8)
- Set the package fee → Save
New-class defaults: Free usually starts on session package; Solo / Solo+AI defaults to monthly. You can change this in Settings.
Default mode otherwise: Calendar month — see Monthly tuition.
How it works
| Step | What happens |
|---|---|
| Student marked present | Uses 1 session from current package |
| Few sessions left | Low package warning on class / attendance |
| Package exhausted | Session package fee on Fees tab — awaiting payment |
| You mark paid (cash / transfer) | New package starts for that student |
| Next attendance before mark paid | Package stays completed — no new package / no second debt until you mark paid |
Attendance may still record present when the package is unpaid; Klassi shows a session package exhausted warning and does not open the next cycle.
The Fees tab shows Session package · month/year labels.

- Cash or Bank transfer → confirm

FAQ
Does makeup QR attendance count?
Yes — present makeup uses a session. → Parallel makeup groups
Excused absence?
Usually no — only present sessions count unless you mark otherwise.
