Check in with QR code
When your teacher opens a session, go to Sessions on your student portal to check in — usually takes just a few seconds.
When can I check in?
You can only check in when your teacher has opened the session. If it isn't open yet, the Sessions tab shows "No open sessions".
How to check in
- Open your student page (the link your teacher sent)
- Tap the Sessions tab in the bottom navigation
- Select the open session and follow the steps on the session card:
In-person class (offline):
- Your teacher displays a QR code on the board or screen
- Tap Start scanning (or enter the code your teacher shares)
- Enable GPS and allow location access in your browser
- Scan the QR code → tap Check in
The system needs both the QR code and GPS to confirm you are at class.
Online class:
- Under Sessions, tap Join online class
- The system records you present when you open the meeting link — no QR scan needed
Hybrid class: you can Join online class or scan QR + GPS, depending on how you attend that session.

FAQ
QR code won't scan?
Hold your phone steady with good lighting and the QR fully in frame. Make sure GPS is on and location access is allowed. If it still doesn't work, ask your teacher to mark you manually.
"Outside check-in area" error?
You are too far from the class location the teacher set. Go to the correct venue and try again.
Page shows "No open sessions"?
Your teacher hasn't started the session yet. Wait for them to open it, or ask.
What happens after I check in?
The session card shows Checked in. Your parents are notified when the session ends.
