Message your teacher

If your teacher enables student messaging, you can ask short class questions from your student page.

Steps

1. Open your student page
2. Tap Messages
3. Type your question
4. Tap Send

When the teacher replies, the message appears in the same tab. If your browser allows notifications, you may receive an alert while the portal is open or installed.

Good uses

• Ask about homework instructions
• Tell the teacher you joined online but forgot to check in
• Ask where to find a material

For absence requests, use Request an absence instead so the teacher can approve it properly.

I don't see Messages.
Your teacher may have disabled student messaging for the class.

Can I send files?
Messages are text-only. Use Submit homework photos for homework.
