My mother has been a primary school teacher for over 20 years. Every evening after dinner, while I sat coding, she sat sending Zalo messages — one by one, to each parent — to report attendance, remind about tuition, and answer the same questions she answered last week and the week before.

Not just one evening. Every evening. And end-of-month was worse — she'd pull up her Excel spreadsheet, reconcile each payment, then message each parent who still owed. The whole evening gone. Not from teaching — from admin.

I looked at that and thought: this isn't just my mother's problem. This is the reality of tens of thousands of teachers across Vietnam — skilled, dedicated people losing hours every week to Zalo and spreadsheets simply because there's no better tool.

Large school management software is too heavy — built for principals, not for teachers in the classroom. DIY solutions with Google Sheets or Zalo work well enough but still cost time, create gaps, and don't build the professional trust that parents actually respond to.

I built Klassi because I want my mother to have a tool where one tap does attendance — and parents know automatically. Tuition reminds itself. A real teacher page replaces the Facebook post that gets buried in a week. Not because it's a good business idea — but because I watch someone who needs it every day, sitting right in front of me.
